We’re actively looking for ways that humanities scholars, librarians, and developers can get involved in Project Bamboo by sharing, testing, and connecting. In the coming months, we’ll continue to share new opportunities to engage in our growing community. If you’re interested in the meantime, please get in contact with us: feedback@lists.projectbamboo.org.
Share a Tool, Web Service, or Collection
Project Bamboo is an open source, community driven effort designed to be extensible over time. We welcome your contributions of web-based tools and web services you may have as well as permission to access your content collections.
Test and Enhance our Research Applications
We’re recruiting users to help us test features and inform future development of research applications. During Fall 2011, we’ll need pilot users for the Project Bamboo Research Environments. Today, the Corpora Space team is actively seeking volunteers to test their prototype tool, “Woodchipper“.
Connect and Join our Community
In addition to the Bamboo Technology Project (BTP), there is a simultaneous effort to build the community that will sustain Project Bamboo over time. We are actively developing ideas for an appropriate membership structure and looking for suggestions, models and volunteers.
